Llangasty Retreat House Friends

A few words of commendation from the Archbishop of Wales, Dr Barry Morgan

It is not hard to decide to become a Friend of Llangasty.  A visit to the house, on a retreat or quiet day, will quickly convince you of the importance of its work and the wonderful opportunity it gives to individuals, parishes and groups, to find the peace and space they need to deepen their awareness of God's presence and love working in their lives.  Retreats are not an escape from the world and certainly God is not confined to 'Holy' places.  But in the busyness of our lives it is hard to find space and time we need for prayer which is why a Retreat House like Llangasty is so important.

The Friends of Llangasty are a group of people who recognise the importance of the work of the House and are committed to supporting its continuing ministry, not just for themselves but so that others may discover it and benefit from all it offers.

Barry Morgan - Archbishop of Wales

In so doing they provide a real service for the Church, not only in Wales, but well beyond its borders.  I warmly commend the work of the Friends to you.  Please consider joining them as they make an invaluable contribution to Llangasty.
